PodMeister Privacy Policy

Overview

PodMeister is designed as a podcast app for iPhone. This policy explains what information the app handles and how privacy-sensitive features work.

Anonymous Analytics

PodMeister currently uses anonymous analytics from TelemetryDeck. These analytics help understand broad app usage, improve reliability, and guide future development.

PodMeister does not intentionally collect podcast subscriptions, listening history, episode titles, private feed credentials, transcript contents, or other personal podcast content through analytics.

Podcast Data

Podcast subscriptions, downloaded episodes, playback positions, playlists, history, and app settings are stored by the app so PodMeister can provide its core podcast features.

Private feed credentials, when used, are intended only to access the feeds you add to the app.

iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud sync, PodMeister may sync supported app data through your private iCloud account. Apple provides and controls the iCloud service. PodMeister also works without iCloud sync.

Third-Party Services

PodMeister may use Apple services for platform features, the iTunes catalog for podcast discovery, Google Cast for Chromecast support, and TelemetryDeck for anonymous analytics.
